First time at a Polish restaurant and I must say that the food was amazing! Very tasty and you get a lot for your money. The service as well was great. We had the pleasure to have Alexandra help us and she’s an amazing person. Very helpful and attentive. I got to try some of my friends meals and everything was sooo goood! I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to try Polands food.

This place was an unexpected delight. The polish cuisine was delicious . The service was exceptional where the waitress was wearing a traditional polish dress and her polish accent and mannerisms were a compliment to the cultural atmosphere. I recommend it.

Polish food and Polish beer is an incredible combination. I had perogis, a potato pancake, and roasted potatoes, and it was some of the best food I've ever had. The beer was great too, I will definitely be returning every time im in the Chicago area. Edit: Ate here again, the only thing that changed is the live music (which is apparently every Sunday), and I now wish I could give more stars! What a great place, among the top 5 places I have ever eaten. I've lost 30 lbs over the past month, and gained it all back in one meal here - no regrets. Literally everything is incredible, if you're reading this to decide, just go. Edit: 20th visit, best place ever Another edit: Added pics of the Chicago steak (NY strip)

Wonderful traditional authentic polish food! I'd give it 6 stars for the food if I could. Service was also very attentive and friendly!! Prices are great!! Atmosphere is nice (and decorated nice for the holidays). I wish this restaurant was closer to my hometown because it would become one of my "go-to" places. (Note: this is a true polish restaurant. Don't order an American cocktail... The house wine is very good and their specialty cocktail is so amazing!)

By far the best and most authentic Polish food in the Chicago area. Service is phenomenal. Their seasonal specials are unique and not to be missed! I prefer to dine in, but food delivered from here is still great.

We were in the area celebrating my husband’s birthday and he was craving Polish or German food. The Highlander House was just what we were hoping for. He enjoyed the European plate. The atmosphere and service were amazing.

Highly recommend! We ordered 6 sauerkraut/mushroom pierogi for an appetizer. They were delicious!!! We ordered the pork cutlet and stuffed cabbage with mushroom sauce. The pork cutlet was a nice size. The stuffed cabbage dish came with 2 nice sized pieces. They were fantastic. The mushroom sauce was crazy good. We had mashed potatoes and dumplings for our hot sides. We had coleslaw and cucumbers/sour cream for cold sides. The wait staff were very polite.

This place is perfect! Originally we are from Indiana but me and my bf came here to visit. I was in a taste for Polish food, so I ordered the Highlander Special and it tasted amazing! I fell back in touch with my roots here since my family is from Poland. Will be coming back here soon.
